Virginia Tech Prospective PhD Open House

Save the Date!  October 5th & 6th

Thank you for your interest in the Engineering Education Program Virginia Tech!  Choosing a graduate program is a difficult and important decision.  We are delighted that Virginia Tech is among your list of possibilities.  Virginia Tech's PhD graduate program in engineering education seeks to prepare students for successful careers in research, academia, and industry by offering a program that is balanced between rigorous research and real world application.

To help you gather information about our program, we are hosting our annual Fall Open House for prospective PhD students.  The 2017 Open House is scheduled for October 5th & 6th, and will afford visiting students the opportunity to learn a great deal about our program and the faculty and students who make up our close community.  The Open House will include current faculty research presentations, a poster session on current student research, and a seminar given by a leader in the engineering education field.  Visitors will also have the chance to meet with faculty to discuss personal research interests and to participate in a relaxed discussion with our current graduate students.  The events will begin at 1:00 p.m.  on Thursday, October 5th and conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6th.
